Two years ago I first picked up a crochet hook and began to attempt my first hooky project. It was a rug, made with Lion Brand Incredible yarn in city lights. It was not turning out as I would hope. As the size increased the rug began to wave...not what I wanted at all, so I set it down. Finally I picked it up again today with more crochet knowledge and figured out what I had done wrong and tore it out to begin again.
Now It is being remade and this time it is coming together perfectly and lying flat and I'm overjoyed. This is going to be a very large rug. I love the jewel tones of the ribbon/yarn and hopefully in the next year or so it will be lying on the living room floor of my own apartment.
